Terms of Service

Fair terms, plain English.

These terms govern your use of CMA. We have kept them as short and readable as possible — no legal jargon for the sake of it.

Last updated: 9 April 2026

1. The basics

CMA (Client Management App) is operated by Coder Studios Ltd. By creating an account and using CMA, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when registering. You must be at least 18 years old to use CMA. One person or business may hold multiple accounts, but each account must have a unique email address.

3. Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you will need to subscribe to continue using CMA. We will not charge you without your explicit consent.

4. Billing and payment

CMA costs £49 per month per team. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month. You can cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. Your data

You own your data. We do not claim any ownership over the client information, quotes, invoices, documents, or media you upload to CMA. You may export your data at any time. If you cancel your account, your data is retained for 30 days then permanently deleted. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use CMA to:

  • Store, transmit, or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or interfere with the service.
  • Resell or redistribute CMA without our written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Availability and uptime

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of liability

CMA is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time from your team settings. On cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of CMA after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
