Switching from Tradify
  1. 1. In Tradify, open Clients, then choose Export to CSV.
  2. 2. In CMA, open Clients, choose Import, and upload the file. Field-mapping is automatic for the standard Tradify export.

  1. 1. In Powered Now, open Customers and export the customer list as CSV.
  2. 2. In CMA, open Clients, choose Import, and upload the file. We will map name, email, phone, and address columns automatically.

  2. 2. In CMA, open Clients, choose Import, and upload the file. Multiple-address customers split into the right per-client address rows on the way in.

Migration questions

How long does switching actually take?

For most solo tradespeople, an afternoon. Sign up, paste in your client CSV, and you are sending quotes the same day. If you also want past jobs lined up, send the exports to us during the trial - we typically turn them around within 48 hours.

Is my data safe during the migration?

Yes. Your CSV exports are emailed only between you and the CMA team, processed against your own trial account, and never stored outside it. We delete the working copies as soon as your data is loaded.

What about my Xero history?

Your Xero account is unchanged. CMA connects to Xero the same way your previous tool did - past invoices stay in Xero, and new CMA invoices push across going forward.

My current tool is not on the list - can I still switch?

Yes. CMA accepts a generic clients CSV with name, email, phone, and address columns - so as long as your current tool can export that, you are in. Email us the file and we will write you a tailored mapping guide.

What does the migration help cost?

Nothing extra. It is part of the trial - no add-ons, no professional services fee. CMA is one flat £49 per month once the trial converts.
