Full-height strips needed across the walls.
Includes pattern repeat.
Includes % wastage
We divide your total wall width by the roll width to get the number of full-height drops needed. The drop length is the room height plus one pattern repeat (so each drop can be matched against the next). Dividing the roll length by the drop length gives drops per roll. Total rolls is drops needed divided by drops per roll, rounded up.
Always buy from the same batch number and add a roll or two of wastage for mistakes, tricky corners, and future repairs. 10% is a sensible minimum for plain paper; bump it up to 15% for patterned designs with a large repeat.
